AAR Signs Distribution Agreement with Arkwin Industries
AAR has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Arkwin Industries covering its line of engine actuation and commercial aviation products for the aftermarket. AAR says the agreement, which is effective Oct. 1, will provide meaningful growth to its OEM Solutions business and that the CFM56, CF34 and CF6 products complement its existing engine offering.
SR Technics Malta Signs Chemical Consignment Agreement
SR Technics Malta has signed a chemical consignment agreement with Aerospheres UK, a distributor of aviation-related chemicals for commercial airline and MRO operations. The partnership covers storage and supply of Aerospheres’ paints, adhesives, sealants, cleaners and lubricants at the SR Technics Malta facility.
LHT Extends Rossiya Airlines Engine Services
Lufthansa Technik has extended its engine services collaboration with Rossiya Airlines by contracting additional engine shop visits. It will overhaul four CFM56-5B engines at its engine shop in Hamburg until mid-2022.
Thales and AJW Group Sign Avionics Support Agreement
Thales has signed an avionics maintenance services agreement with AJW Group which includes Repair By The Hour for Airbus A320CEO, A320NEO and A330 fleets of major European airlines. Thales will mainly support AJW from its repair shop in Chatellerault, France. It will also provide support to AJW Technique at its component MRO facility in Montreal.
C&L Aerospace Boosts Parts Inventory
C&L Aerospace is boosting its ATR stock through a recent multi-million-dollar purchase of ATR spare parts, mainly consisting of consumables and expendables. It is also in the process of dismantling an ATR 72, alongside 14 other Embraer, Saab and Challenger aircraft.
Fokker Services Signs Overhaul and Repair Agreement with Collins
Fokker Services has entered into a seven-year overhaul and repair agreement with Collins Aerospace. It says its diverse pneumatic MRO capabilities at Fokker Services America will help it support Collins as a “one-stop shop” for a broad mix of components.
CAE and Air Canada Sign Maintenance Training Agreement
CAE has signed an exclusive five-year agreement to become Air Canada’s embedded Transport Canada approved training organization for aircraft maintenance and engineering. The agreement includes the development, management and delivery of Air Canada’s maintenance and engineering training. CAE will implement digital training technologies such as virtual 360 aircraft environments.
FDH Aero Acquires Madison Aerospace
Aftermarket distributor FDH Aero has acquired Madison Aerospace, an aerospace parts and hardware provider. FDH Aero says the acquisition broadens its reach with additional product offerings in the OEM segment.
HAECO Americas Signs Cargo Conversion Mods Agreement
HAECO Americas has signed an agreement with 321 Precision Conversions to provide heavy maintenance and structural modifications for its Airbus A321 passenger-to-freighter conversions. The work, which will entail extensive interior and exterior modifications, will be performed at HAECO’s Lake City, Florida facility starting in January 2022.
Ameron Grows PMA Parts Approval in China
Ametek MRO’s Ameron aftermarket division has been approved by the Civil Administration of China to sell 29 types of aircraft Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) pyrotechnic parts in China. Ameron now offers a total of 82 PMA parts to the Chinese market that support what it says are the vast majority of aircraft flying today in China.
