Diehl Aviation announced plans to open a new customer and sales office in Dubai this year to expand its proximity to customers and range of services in the region. Diehl Aviation Middle East will focus on a variety of areas, such as cabin upgrades and retrofits, and the company says the branch will commence work in mid-2020.

Spairliners Signs Component Support Agreement With Emirates

Spairliners signed a general terms agreement to provide component aftermarket solutions for Emirates’ Airbus A380 fleet. According to Emirates, the component support will strengthen service and reliability for the “flagship of its fleet.”

Rhinestahl CTS to Service EngineStands24 Fleet

EngineStands24 signed an engine stand service agreement with Rhinestahl CTS covering maintenance service on its stands pool for all of its global hubs. Rhinestahl will manage EngineStands24’s entire engine stand fleet to ensure its readiness for leasing from its service stations at locations where EngineStands24 has hubs, including Dubai, Amsterdam and Guangzhou.

Revima Scores Landing Gear and APU Agreements

Revima has signed a six-year landing gear and APU MRO contract with Air Arabia for the full support of its Airbus A320 landing gears. The work will take place at Revima’s Normandy, France facility and total 40 shipsets.

Revima also announced plans to collaborate with Malaysia Airlines Berhad on specialized APU and landing gear solutions. The companies will work together to provide a one-stop-service center on landing gear replacement and overhaul solutions for third party customers, including the airline providing landing gear replacement services at its Kuala Lumpur Hangar and Revima supporting landing gear overhauls and providing the carrier with technical and training support.

Safran Partners with Sabena Technics on Nacelle Offerings

Safran Nacelles signed a long-term agreement with Sabena Technics’ GO TEAM covering support and services for its nacelles product range. Sabena Technics will provide in-field services to increase on-site intervention capabilities for Safran’s NacelleLife offering.

SalamAir Selects OASES Platform

SalamAir has selected Commsoft OASES engineering and maintenance software, including its core, airworthiness, line maintenance control, planning, materials and warranty modules. The Oman-based carrier plans to implement the software onsite starting in March.
