Q: What is top of your priority list for the next 12 months?
"Our growth requires strict focus on sustainable processes. We have to look for solutions with our maintenance partners in Easter Europe for their qualified workforce shortage. If this is not addressed jointly, maintenance itself become unpredictable."

"Facing a transition period and the biggest challenge is the fusion between two companies with the related change of procedures, same Authority but two different offices (big internal problem) and of course the personnel related issue."
Amir Ali, Chief Technical Officer, PIA Engineering & Maintenance
Q: What is the biggest challenge for you and your airline within maintenance and engineering?
"Lack of optimized processes and absence of effective IT solution."
Dominic Ryan, Director of Maintenance and Engineering, Aer Lingus
"Maintain fleet dispatch reliability and planning the introduction of the A321 Neo LR to Aer Lingus operations."
Q: What new technology/solutions are you excited about that might reform/evolve your current practices?
"We are very excited about our DFP (Delta Flight Products) division…this very experienced engineering group is working on some quite new wireless IFE products along with continuing to enhance our prognostics coverage."
