Liebherr-Aerospace opens logistics center in Dubai

Liebherr-Aerospace’s new logistic center is located on the premises of Liebherr Middle East FZE in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. The location was strategically chosen to support airlines based in the Middle East and offer optimized spare parts availability.

Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation is one of 11 divisional control companies within the Liebherr Group and is a supplier of aviation systems including flight control, actuation systems, landing gear, air management systems and gear boxes.

The grand opening of the new facility Feb 3 was held to coincide with MRO Middle East in Dubai. Guests were invited to take a tour of the new facility and learn more about Liebherr-Aerospace’s offerings.

The logistics center includes 1,000 m2 of floor space. It has space for receiving and shipping parts, as well as offices for the management of piece parts and line replacement units.

Liebherr-Aerospace’s original equipment inventory is also available for sale and exchange. Storage and logistic processes are managed by OEMServices.

Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation Systems has four aviation production plants in Germany, France, Brazil and Russia. The customer service centers are located in Michigan, Seattle, Wichita, Montreal, Hamburg, Moscow, Singapore, Shanghai and Dubai.
