Turkish Technic Lands Airline Deals
Turkish Technic signed several airline agreements at MRO Europe. It renewed its base maintenance services deal with European ACMI and charter carrier FLY4 Airlines and signed a five-year component pool agreement with Corendon Airlines covering its Boeing 737 MAX and NG fleet. It also announced plans to collaborate with LOT Polish Airlines on base maintenance services in Istanbul.
SkyParts, Setna iO Partner On Parts Distribution
Skyparts, the spares trading arm of Acron Aviation, signed a strategic channel partner agreement with Setna iO. It says the partnership enhances its global reach and inventory capabilities, enabling a steady flow of Setna iO’s used serviceable material to be integrated into the Skyparts inventory catalog.
Joramco Inks Heavy Maintenance Deals
Joramco signed four heavy maintenance agreements at MRO Europe 2025. It extended its partnership with MNG Airlines by adding a C check for one of the cargo carrier’s Airbus A330s, and it also added Embraer E190-E2 aircraft to its existing base maintenance deal with TUI Group.
Joramco signed a new maintenance agreement with Mexican cargo carrier MasAir covering base maintenance checks on its A330s, and an agreement with World Star Aviation covering heavy base maintenance such as C checks, painting, lease transition and redelivery services for the lessor’s fleet, primarily focused on Boeing 737-800Fs.
New AFI KLM E&M Engine And APU Deals
AFI KLM E&M signed a long-term CFM International CFM56-7B engine maintenance contract with SunExpress, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. It will provide comprehensive shop visit support services for the engines powering SunExpress’s fleet of Boeing 737NGs through 2031. AFI KLM E&M also signed a three-year engine maintenance agreement with Shenzhen Airlines and its subsidiary, Kunming Airlines, covering CFM56-7B engines between 2025-27. It will provide maintenance services from its KLM Engine Facilities in Amsterdam.
Meanwhile, AFI KLM E&M subsidiary Epcor signed a long-term comprehensive maintenance agreement with Norse Atlantic Airways for the APS5000 auxiliary power units on its 787s.
Satair Inks Cabin Product Distribution Deals
Satair signed a five-year global distribution agreement with Airchair for its onboard wheelchair products, which allow passengers with reduced mobility to access aircraft lavatories more comfortably. Satair also signed a multi-year deal to become the exclusive global distributor for Groth Luftfahrt & Systemtechnik’s mechanical lavatory faucets for Airbus aircraft.
AAR Becomes Eaton EMEA Service Center
AAR signed an agreement to become an authorized service center for Eaton’s commercial aerospace customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It will provide local repair and overhaul of Eaton’s hydraulic components for large commercial aircraft from its component services facility in Amsterdam.
Ontic Signs Logistics And Distribution Deals
B&H signed a global warehousing and logistics contract with Ontic, through which the aerospace logistics provider will offer inventory management services, dangerous goods handling, routine and AOG shipping services, and hold more than 3,000 items to support Ontic’s exchange program across the U.S., UK and Singapore. Ontic also expanded its exclusive distribution agreement with Boeing to include the Honeywell RDR-4 A/B Weather Radar system and P440/660/880 Primus Weather Radar family.
Ontic also announced a new MRO facility in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, which will begin a phased opening in January 2026. The facility will include pneumatic and hydraulic infrastructure, an avionics workshop, non-destructive testing and a machine shop.
New Boeing Connectivity, Distribution Deals
Boeing announced a services agreement with Virgin Atlantic covering connectivity modifications across the airline’s fleet of 787s. Under the deal, Boeing will install upgrades to provide Starlink Wi-Fi connectivity.
Boeing also announced a global distribution services agreement with Didsbury, under which it will stock and support select Didsbury products—such as lifting hoists, fuel tank entry systems and ground support handling equipment—through its global distribution network.
Lufthansa Technik, Safran Partner On APU Generators
Safran Electrical & Power announced a partnership with Lufthansa Technik to provide comprehensive support and expertise on maintenance and overhaul services for auxiliary power unit generators on the Airbus A320 family.
LHT Sofia Extends EasyJet Heavy Checks
EasyJet extended its long-term base maintenance cooperation with Lufthansa Technik Sofia by another seven years. Lufthansa Technik Sofia will continue providing regular heavy base maintenance checks for easyJet’s fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft during the winter season from its facility in Bulgaria, where it will dedicate four parallel overhaul bays exclusively to the airline.
Iberia Maintenance Joins Honeywell Repair Network
Iberia Maintenance joined Honeywell Aerospace Technologies’ channel partner network for the repair of CFM International CFM56 engine accessories and other components. Under the deal, it will provide repair services for products such as engine mechanical accessories, pneumatics, hydraulics and avionics from its La Muñoza maintenance center in Madrid.
AMAC Aerospace Announces Software Deal, New STC
AMAC Aerospace subsidiary GAMIT was awarded a five-year contract to digitize the technical records of European Cargo’s fleet through its Records Online Asset Management (ROAM) software. AMAC Aerospace also announced a supplemental type certificate for installation of Halon-free fire extinguishers covering a range of aircraft.
AJW Taps Ametek For Component Support
Ametek MRO signed a global agreement with AJW Group to provide specialist component repair support across facilities in Europe, Asia and the U.S. The deal covers electromechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, environmental, heat transfer, fuel pumps and controls, avionics and instruments.
AJW Group Opens Amsterdam Warehouse
AJW Group opened a new warehouse in Amsterdam to improve European customers’ access to parts. The facility will hold a range of what AJW says are high-demand components for widely-operated Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Scott Symington, chief commercial officer at AJW Group, says the warehouse will reduce lead times and streamline logistics by providing inventory located closer to customers in the European Union.
BCT Aviation Boosts East Midlands Equipment
BCT Aviation Maintenance announced a six-figure investment in new hangar equipment and airside vehicles at East Midlands Airport, including new Genie platform lifts, Hydro tripod airframe jacks and zero-emission vans. BCT Aviation will also get a new hydraulic ground power unit and ram air turbine test rig in the coming months. The investment comes ahead of what BCT Aviation says will be a full-capacity winter maintenance program.
MAAS Aviation Extends Airbus Paint Deal
MAAS Aviation extended its agreement with Airbus to paint A220 and A320 aircraft in Mobile, Alabama, for five years. The company has the capability to paint up to 200 aircraft annually in Mobile across five dedicated paint bays.
