Cebu Pacific Extends Airinmar Support Deal
Cebu Pacific signed a multi-year extension of its agreement with Airinmar, which includes aircraft warranty management and value engineering support services. The airline says Airinmar’s services have helped it effectively manage its maintenance spending during fleet expansion.
Vietjet Thailand Signs AFI KLM E&M Component Deal
Vietjet Thailand signed a long-term power-by-the-hour component support agreement with AFI KLM E&M covering its fleet of 50 Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The agreement includes component repair, main base kit support and access to AFI KLM E&M’s components pool.
Air Premia Taps LHT For 787 Spares Supply
South Korean carrier Air Premia signed a long-term contract with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) covering component supply services for its Boeing 787-9s. Under the deal, LHT will provide Air Premia with access to its global spare parts pool and set up homebase stock at the airline’s technical operations center at Incheon International Airport.
Air Premia Opts For Boeing Landing Gear Program
Air Premia also selected Boeing Global Services’ landing gear exchange program to support maintenance of its 787-9 passenger and cargo fleet. Boeing says airlines that use the program have access to the largest global landing gear exchange pool, which is supported by its expanding network of MRO partners.
ADE, AFI KLM E&M Partner On AirAsia Component Support
Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) signed a long-term component agreement with AFI KLM E&M covering support of AirAsia’s expanding fleet of 377 Airbus A321neos. Under the deal, AFI KLM E&M will provide component support and ADE will manage the program as the MRO provider to AirAsia Group.
AFI KLM E&M To Support Parata Air Component Services
AFI KLM E&M signed a component support agreement with Korea’s Parata Air covering the Airbus A330ceo fleet with which it plans to launch operations. The six-year power-by-the-hour contract includes component pooling, repair, main base kits, component health monitoring and logistics services.
Air Niugini Gets OEM Support For New A220s
Air Niugini signed an Airbus Flight Hour Services contract for its new fleet of 11 A220s. The power-by-the-hour agreement includes integrated component services such as on-site stock, pool access and repair services.
Silk Way West Taps GE For Boeing Freighter Engine Support
Silk Way West Airlines signed an extended services agreement with GE Aerospace covering the GEnx and GE90 engines powering its growing fleet of Boeing 747-8, 777 and 777-8 Freighters.
JAL Renews Collins FlightSense Deal
Japan Airlines (JAL) renewed its FlightSense contract with Collins Aerospace, which covers comprehensive MRO and asset management support for the airline’s fleet of Boeing 787s. The 10-year deal includes air management services and electrical power components for JAL’s current fleet of 787-8s and -9s, as well as future deliveries through 2035.
Boeing Wins EVA Air Agreements
EVA Air signed multiple agreements with Boeing. The first will give EVA Air access to Boeing’s landing gear exchange pool to support its 787-9 and -10 fleet. EVA Air also signed up for Boeing Digital Services, including Airplane Health Management and Maintenance Performance Toolbox, to support its 777 and 787 maintenance operations.
HAECO, Satair Expand Supply Agreement
HAECO and Satair signed a strategic agreement that expands the scope of expendables supply for all operating companies under HAECO Group. The deal focuses specifically on Airbus standard parts.
Garuda Indonesia Picks HAECO For GE90 Services
Garuda Indonesia Airlines signed a three-year agreement with HAECO covering overhaul and repair services for its General Electric GE90 engines. HAECO says the deal builds on its 15-year Material Service Agreement with GE Aerospace from last year, which gives it access to the OEM’s material resources.
Boeing, Korean Air Partner On Predictive Maintenance
Boeing and Korean Air announced an agreement to collaborate on predictive maintenance. Boeing says the companies will undertake projects to help the airline access enhanced aircraft data, improve data collection and reporting processes, and leverage real-time data from aircraft sensors to determine optimal maintenance timing.
Joramco Lands First Air India Contract
Joramco signed its first maintenance agreement with Air India, which covers heavy maintenance checks on the airline’s fleet of Boeing 777s and 787s. Fraser Currie, chief strategy and commercial officer at Joramco parent company DAE Engineering, says the partnership is a major step in the company’s expansion into the Indian market.
Honeywell Grows Philippine Airlines APU Support
Honeywell signed an agreement to provide multi-year repair and overhaul services for 331-350 and 331-500 auxiliary power units (APU) on Philippine Airlines’ Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft. Honeywell already provides repair and overhaul support for 131-9A APUs on the airline’s A320 fleet.
China Airlines Taps LHT For Boeing Component Support
China Airlines signed a Total Component Support (TCS) contract with Lufthansa Technik to secure parts supply for its existing fleet of 20 Boeing 777s and 24 future 787s for at least 20 years. China Airlines already has a TCS agreement for its Airbus A330 and A350 fleets.
LHT Wins CFM Maintenance Contracts
Lufthansa Technik (LHT) signed a four-year contract to repair and overhaul SriLankan Airlines’ CFM International CFM56-5B engines that power its Airbus A320ceos. The first engine is expected to arrive at LHT’s Hamburg facility by early 2026. SriLankan already uses LHT for Quick Turn Shop Visits for its CFM Leap-1A engines. The carrier also opted to use Aviatar Condition Monitoring to monitor its entire fleet.
LHT also signed a contract with Vietravel Airlines to maintain the CFM56-5B engines that power the airline’s A320 fleet. The companies did not disclose the contract terms other than saying LHT would perform the maintenance in Hamburg.
Singapore Airlines Signs APU Contract
Singapore Airlines signed a 15-year maintenance agreement with Pratt & Whitney Canada for maintenance of 34 APS5000 auxiliary power units (APU). Pratt & Whitney Canada designed the all-electric APUs exclusively for the Boeing 787.
Turkish Technic Wins Landing Gear Deals
Garuda Indonesia signed two multi-year agreements with Turkish Technic covering landing gear overhaul services for several Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
Turkish Technic also signed a multi-year agreement with low-cost carrier Citilink to provide landing gear overhaul services for several Airbus A320ceo and A320neo aircraft.
IndiGo Picks Thales For Avionics Support
IndiGo signed an 11-year maintenance support contract with Thales covering avionics component repair services and spares management for its fleet of Airbus A320s and future A32X aircraft. Thales will manage repairs from its new avionics MRO facility in Gurugram, India.
