Turkish Technic has expanded its two-year parts agreement with Boeing for another three years and added 9,000 parts to the contract.

The parties did not disclose the value of the agreement but said the inventory mostly includes new expendable parts.

By extending the contract, Boeing says Turkish Technic maintains its pricing benefits and gets the same level of parts availability that it did with its original contract, even though the new version includes 9,000 more parts.

In addition, Turkish Technic “can work with Boeing to establish warranty and return periods on parts that work best or their operation,” says a Boeing spokesperson.

These types of contracts allow operators to customize how parts will be stocked, and “areas of customization typically include discount and rebate rates, warranty and return periods, contract length and stocking locations,” says Boeing.
