The P01229 and P01230 Pack Board Release Mechanism from Aviation Component Solutions is installed on the entry door escape slide on the 767-200, 300, 400ER Series. The assembly includes 29 separate parts. The advantages of the pack board release mechanism include a robust design, wrought machined metal parts replacing cast parts and corrosion resistant materials. Booth #3123
26 Series Relays
Peerless Electronics is now distributing Kissing Electrotec’s environmentally sealed 26 series relays. The 26 series features 300 amp dual-coil system power relays. The dual-coil system develops high contact pressure, resulting in low contact voltage drop and enhanced shock and vibration capabilities. An important feature of the dual-coil system is the minimized coil power resulting from the low holding current. The extremely low mass of this 300 A light weight relay has been achieved by optimizing both design and size yet maintaining performance and ruggedness. Relay sealing complies with IEC 60529 and DIN 40050-9 standards and meets IP67 & IP6K9K (steam pressure cleaning). These relays are available with stud or screw type terminals. Booth #321
LCD TFD-8601 Cockpit Retrofit Solution
The new TFD-8601 unit is a plug-and-play LCD replacement for Rockwell Collins’ EFD-86 CRT unit on a range of regional and corporate aircraft including SAAB 340, Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia, Beechcraft King Air, Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker and Learjet. This LCD solution from Thomas Global Systems eliminates any CRT component obsolescence threat, increases system reliability and drives down maintenance costs for the life of the aircraft. The TFD-8601 is designed to help operators avoid expensive full cockpit upgrades--there are no upgrades in wiring or additional training required. Booth #1128
Acclimate Ignition System
In response to expanding regulatory requirements for radioactive components, Unison Industries launched the Acclimate Ignition System, a radiation-free product line of high-energy, high-temperature solid-state ignition systems. To accomplish adaptive capability, the Acclimate exciter employs proprietary electronics that vary the amount of spark energy delivered as well as the spark rate, based on environmental conditions such as extreme weather, temperature and operator altitude. They are available as a new unit to receive as an original equipment delivery, for exchange by switching the solid-state for the spark gap and adding a new input filter during a routine engine service, or by retrofit, converting any existing spark gap unit. Flap Indicator Gauge
Covenant M&A recently manufactured a flap indicator gauge for the B-52 bomber using new technology to speak to the old technology leaving the original gauge design so it appears the same to the pilot. The company has the capability of using this technology on all gauges. Booth #4907
Pressure Regulator and Self-Resetting Fuse Valve Assembly
Circor Aerospace & Defense’s pressure regulator and self-resetting fuse valve assembly are available either as new OEM spares, or as OEM quality overhauls. The pressure regulator is on Bombardier regional jets and fuse valve is found on Boeing aircraft. Circor Aerospace & Defense products are flying on most commercial and military aircraft and rotorcraft, business and regional jets, military transports and fighters. Booth #2301
3D Printed Flight Air Duct
Stratasys Direct Manufacturing 3D printed the FAA certified flight air duct using fused deposition modeling (FDM) and the FAR 25.853 certified thermoplastic ULTEM 9085. Stratasys Direct Manufacturing provides additive and advanced manufacturing services to the aerospace industry via FDM, selective laser sintering and direct metal laser sintering. Booth #435
