Midvale Industries’ eStrip GPX is an aerospace coating removal system. The product is a corn hybrid polymer (Type VII plastic abrasive) designed to remove coatings off of aircraft without damaging composites or thin-skinned aluminum. This process is typically 8-10 times faster than hand-sanding components. The medium is also recyclable.

TDA recently acquired an Airbus A320, MSN 2137, for teardown. With a manufacturing date of Oct. 17, 2003, this is one of the youngest A320s being torn down. The disassembly process at Ecube Solutions in Wales has been completed, and parts are available for sale.

The company offers a line of 1090 MHz Mode-S ES (extended squitter) transponders, which, when coupled with an appropriate WAAS/GPS position source, meet the requirements of the current mandates based on RTCA DO-260B and associated airworthiness directives. 

On the ground, Becker offers the ADS-B Traffic Localization and Surveillance System (Atlass) for ADS-B-derived operational benefits to fleet operators, airport operators and airspace managers. Key capabilities of the Atlass system include situational awareness, airport operations supervision, surface movement awareness, search-and-rescue mission management, security services and law enforcement support, flight-following for airlines and fleet operators, and back-up situational display for air traffic control and UAV operations surveillance.

L J. Walch Co. uses cold-spray technology to develop designated engineering representative (DER) repairs for housings and many other parts that used to be rendered beyond economic repair. It has developed DER repairs for other items such wobblers, diode packs and oven motors.
