Libya’s Afriqiyah Orders GE Engines For A330-200 Fleet

Afriqiyah Airways will power its planned fleet of Airbus A330-200s with General Electric CF6-80E1 engines. The deal, which is valued at more than US$100 million at list prices, covers three firm A330 orders held by the Libyan carrier, as well as three options. Deliveries will begin in May 2009....
