In response to Stanley J. Glinka's letter "Osprey Needs Design Change" (AW&ST June23, p. 7), the rotors are connected by a driveshaft, causing them to rotate in perfect sync, even with only one engine running. As for tilting the nacelles in sync with each other, there hasn't been a tilt mechanism...
