Jet Fuel Spot Prices In New York Up 9%
Jet fuel spot prices in New York ended last week at $0.83 per gallon, up 9% from the beginning of the week and up 91% from a year ago, according to Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. Crude oil futures for May traded at roughly $27.00 per barrel last week, down 21% from a nine-year high of $34.13 on March 7.
