Japan Air System
Japan Air System said yesterday it has placed new firm orders for six more Douglas MD-90 aircraft and is taking an option on another. JAS earlier ordered 10 MD-90s. It plans to take delivery of the new orders in 1997 and 1998 and will inaugurate service with its first MD-90 next month.
