Iberia Agrees To New Travel Agent Commissions
Iberia and Spanish travel agents, after eight months of negotiations, have agreed to a new commission plan that will reduce the commission per ticket from the 6% to 1%, beginning July 2005. In return, the airline and travel agents will start charging commissions directly to passengers.
