Herbert Culmann, former Lufthansa chairman, dies at 76
Former Lufthansa Chairman Herbert Culmann, one the airline's original employees, died Thursday following a serious illness. Culmann, 76, was chairman from 1972 to 1982. Current Chairman Jurgen Weber praised Culmann as the "elder statesman" of German civil aviation.
