Heathrow's Terminal 5 Approved
After years of delays, the British Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, Stephen Byers, yesterday gave planning approval for the construction of a fifth terminal at London Heathrow Airport. The decision in favor of the building was long expected, but it came at a price. Byers said that the number of aircraft movements as well as passenger numbers would be limited at the world's biggest international airport.
