GE Reconsiders Unducted Fan Technology

GE says it is looking seriously at unducted fan technology as demand for new products like the next-generation narrowbody are better understood. The engine maker notes the reasons now are the same as when it studied that technology in the 1980s -- dramatically better specific fuel consumption.
