FAA Slashes Runway Incursion Number For Fiscal 2009
With the federal fiscal year ending tomorrow, it looks as if FAA will record a dramatic reduction in serious runway incursions. For the fiscal year through Sept. 27, FAA reports just 10 incursions in Category A or B. In contrast, there were 24 in both fiscal 2007 and 2008, and 28 in 2006.
