F/List has signed a contract with Bombardier which will see the OEM hosting a 20-strong team from the Austrian interiors specialist at its UK Service Center at Biggin Hill outside London. F/List’s team will be up and running within Bombardier’s facility in “the next couple of months,” according to Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Bombardier’s Vice President and General Manager of Customer Experience, and will offer a full range of its services.

“Our portfolio within the aircraft is everything but the seats – although in the aftermarket we also repair and refurbish seats,” says Katharina List-Nagl, F/List’s CEO, and the third generation to run the family business. “Besides that you can get nearly everything that you require inside an aircraft cabin at F/List.”

“It’s great to be able to associated with people who have the same vision of the market that we have at Bombardier,” Gallagher says. “In F/List and Biggin Hill we have wonderful partners who have the exact same view of how we need to provide an exceptional customer experience to our operators and owners.”

The airport is also delighted with the new arrangement. Although F/List’s team on site will work exclusively with Bombardier’s customers, the partnership is aligned with the facility’s growth strategy.

“Having a company such as F/List partnering with Bombardier is really great news for us,” says Robert Walker, director of business development at Biggin Hill. “The vibrancy and resilience of our airport’s ecosystem is fundamental to our success.”

F/List’s partnership with Bombardier began with a contract for the Learjet 45 in 2004, and continued through the Challenger 300 and 350 programs. List-Nagl is eyeing further opportunities to collaborate as both companies expand globally - and she opened discussions with Bombardier on one of them during yesterday’s press conference.

“In 2017 we established a business in Dubai, where we’re working closely with Execujet,” she says. Noting Bombardier’s announcement on Monday that it was setting up a Service Center in the UAE city-state, she adds: “We are looking forwards to future collaboration with Bombardier there also. J.C. doesn’t know about that yet! I just want to show him my interest.”
