Eastern has been on the ground since 1991, but its PAC still is in business
Eastern Airlines, which hasn't flown since January 1991, still has a political action committee with more than $13,000 in cash on hand. The Miami-based PAC made one contribution last year - $1,000 to Rep. Peter Deutsch (D-Fla.).
