Fully loaded, the 21-m-long (69-ft.) C560 booster can store 93,000 kg (205,000 lb.) of propellant and is designed to speed up a silo-launched Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle.
 

Russia’s United Engine Corp. unveiled the SM-100, a further development of the AI-222 turbojet that powers the Yakovlev Yak-130 jet trainer. Gradual improvements will increase thrust by 20%, to 3,000 kg, and double the engine’s service life.
 

Russia’s Tactical Missiles Corp. for the first time displayed its new RVV-MD2 close-range, air-to-air guided missile. Compared with the previous MD version, the new variant has a slightly increased launch weight, to 117 kg from 106 kg, and the range is extended to 50 km (31 mi.) from 40 km. The missile can be carried inside the fuselage and is believed to be designed for Sukhoi Su-57 fighters.
 

The Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, a subsidiary of Roscosmos Space Corp., has studied the concept of an ultralight two-stage SLR rocket. It will be able to deliver 600 kg of payload to sun-synchronous orbit.

The Russo-Indian BrahMos Aerospace joint venture showed a new mixed configuration of BraHmos and BraHmos Next Generation (NG) air-to-surface supersonic cruise missiles on a Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter. In fact, the Su-30MKI will be able to carry up to five NG missiles, which are 1.1 tons lighter than the baseline variant. The first trials of the air-launched BraHmos NG are expected to take place in two years.
