CPI Aerostructures will manufacture structural assemblies for an undisclosed platform in development by Raytheon Missiles and Defense, the New York-based supplier said Jan. 8.
Deliveries to the Raytheon division should begin this year under the order, according to a CPI news release.
Raytheon Missiles and Defense has a portfolio that includes tactical munitions and missile interceptors. The munitions range from glide bombs to air-to-air missiles to hypersonic glide vehicles.
The new order follows CPI’s role as a supplier for other Raytheon programs, including the structural pod for Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band program.
“Missiles and other autonomous aircraft systems are strategic areas of growth for CPI Aero,” CEO Douglas McCrosson said.
