Israel says Arrow and other systems intercepted 86% of Iranian ballistic missiles in the recent fighting.
The Israeli Defense Ministry has provided additional details on its operations against Iran, including more than 500 strikes and interdictions attributed to what it calls its UAV Array.
Uncrewed aircraft operated thousands of flight hours to support the 12 days of fighting, the ministry said July 2.
It also said that 86% of ballistic missiles launched by Iran at Israel were successfully intercepted. Israel relied in part on recent enhancements to its Arrow missile defense system, the ministry said, with some upgrades coming just days before the operation began.
According to an after-action assessment by the ministry’s Directorate of Defense Research & Development, 99% of Iranian drones were intercepted.
The military also relied on more than 12,000 satellite images of Iranian territory, it said.
Drones have accounted for more than 60% of Israel Defense Forces actions across the Iran and counter-Hamas operations, and 60% of Israeli Air Force flight hours.
