GOVT OF CANADA selected SAAB (Gripen) and LOCKHEED MARTIN (F-35) as qualified bidders to supply 88 replacement fighter jets to RCAF from 2025, eliminating BOEING (F/A-18) from the competition. It is expected to award contract in 2022.
