An article on page 38 in the June 23 issue incorrectly identified the commander of the space shuttle mission that delivered the Hubble Space Telescope to orbit. The mission, STS-31, was commanded by Loren J. Shriver. Charles Bolden, who is now NASA administrator, was the mission pilot.
