LUFTHANSA TECHNIK COMPONENT SERVICES is building 25,000 sq ft expansion to its 115,000 sq ft facility at Tulsa, OK for end 2025. It also announced plans to introduce new capabilities, including repair of Integrated Drive Generators.
FLYDUBAI is set to open new 38,000 sq ft flight training center (with six simulator bays) in coming weeks to offer capacity of >43,000 training hours per year; two 737 sims have been installed with two more to be added by end 2026.
AIRBUS announced orders in January from five undisclosed customers for 45 aircraft (25 A320neos; A321neo; 10 A330-900s; three A350Fs; six A350-900s). It also booked five A350Fs with STARLUX and five A350-1000s with LUFTHANSA.
