SPIRIT AIRLINES secured up to $475m in DIP financing from existing bondholders and obtained another $120m of liquidity to support normal business operations during its restructuring. It also announced AERCAP agreed to pay Spirit $150m and allow Spirit to reject leases on 27 aircraft, resolving all claims and disputes between companies, reducing operating costs by hundreds of millions of dollars, and providing for the future delivery of 30 A320neo Family aircraft.
BRAVODELTA AERO-OPS was formed by Bryson Monteleone and Philip Carey to provide specialized transactional support for challenging aircraft trades, including mainline pax/freighter aircraft, business jets and military derivatives.
