BOEING reactivated third 737 MAX assembly line at Renton, and is now producing about 25 aircraft per month, citing receipt of clean fuselages from SPIRIT. It still has 90 pre-built 737-8s (mostly for China/India) and 25 787s being reworkes, of which most are expected to be delivered by end 2024 in order to close its shadow factories by end of year.
USAF says it has decided to pause Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter program to review aircraft design before it commits to single design and supplier (Boeing or Lockheed Martin); other NGAD elements are moving forward.
