ALC delivered 20 new aircraft (three A220s; six A321neos; three A330-900s; two A350s; six 737 MAXs) in 3Q24 vs eight in 3Q23. It ended quarter with 549 owned/managed aircraft (vs 527 a year ago) plus 287 on order through 2029.
BOEING delivered 33 aircraft (737NG; 27 737 MAXs; 767-300F; four 787-10s) in September 2024 vs 27 (15 737 MAXs; two 777Fs; 10 787s) in Sept 2023; and has so far delivered 291 (225 MAXs) in 2024 vs 371 (280) a year ago. It also booked orders from unidentified customers for 54 737 MAXs and 11 777Fs and now has 315 orders in 2024; see page 8.
SAFRAN SEATS was selected by Vietnam Airlines to supply business class seat spare parts for 787s and A350s, reconfigure 23 A321s, and provide equipment/technical certification for IFEC systems for 20 A321neos and 17 787s.
AZUL reached agreements with aircraft lessors and OEMs to eliminate pro-rata share of current balances of >92% of its existing equity issuance obligations, totaling about R$3b, in exchange for up to 100m of new preferred Azul shares.
HONEYWELL plans in late 2025/early 2026 to spin off (tax-free to Honeywell shareholders) its Advanced Materials business into separate publicly traded company with approximately $3.8b of revenue and >25% EBITDA margin.
JET PARTS ENGINEERING, WA acquired MITCHELL PMA and its catalog for >170 FAA-PMA approved airframe and accessory replacement parts, ranging from rudder balance weights to engine cooling hoses, to cargo door lanyards.
