Singapore-based LCC Scoot has confirmed its first three destinations in India will be Amritsar, Chennai and Jaipur. The carrier had indicated it would announce its India service this month and was believed to be targeting these three cities (Aviation Daily, April 4). The Chennai and Amritsar flights are due to begin May 24, with Jaipur service starting Oct. 2. All will use Boeing 787s.
