this week took delivery of its first A330-200, the first of 10 slated to join its fleet to replace 767s on flights between Hawaiiand the continental US. The aircraft is leased to the carrier through CITAerospace. HA will take delivery of two more leased A330-200s this year and begin taking delivery next year of seven of the type it has on firm order. The aircraft will seat 294 passengers in a two-class configuration.

Afriqiyah Airways will increase frequencies between Tripoliand Dubaifrom four to six weekly flights this summer. Arab Air Carrier Org. reported that the airline has a long-term plan to operate from Dubaito various points in the Indian subcontinent and Far East, namely Dhaka, Mumbai and Manila.
