Lt. Gen. Robert Neller is the White House nominee to be the next commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps. Currently heading U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, Neller graduated from the University of Virginia and was commissioned via the Platoon Leaders Class program in May 1975.
