NASA is denying reports that its Cassini spacecraft is experiencing “unexplained deviations in its orbit around Saturn,” which some attribute to the gravitational pull of a possible undiscovered planet in our Solar System. “While the proposed planet’s existence may eventually be confirmed by other means, mission navigators have observed no unexplained deviations in the spacecraft’s orbit since its arrival there in 2004,” NASA says.

PRATT & WHITNEY signed work agreements worth $17m over 10 years with Italian aerospace suppliers AEREA SPA, APR SRL, MEPIT SRL, and NCM SPA to manufacture F135 engine components for F-35 Lightning II. BOEING wins $922.6m U.S. Army contract for 117 AH-64E remanufactured Apache helicopters. Work to be performed in Mesa, AZ; complete by May 31, 2018. DUTCH AIR FORCE completed testing April 4 to certify KDC-10 tanker to refuel F-35A. Dutch F-35 was refueled during the day, at dusk, at night in flights at Edwards AFB, CA.
