SPIRIT AEROSYSTEMS signed MOU with Aerion to manufacture forward fuselage for AS2 supersonic busines jet starting in 2023; at full rate, it is expecting to build 36 forward fuselage assemblies per year. It began on preliminary design in early 2019.
