Dassault Falcon Jet has opened a new 200,000 ft.2 maintenance facility at Melbourne Orlando International Airport, Florida. The facility includes workshops, customer offices, lounges and a 54,000 ft.2 paint shop.

Gulfstream has opened a new repair and overhaul center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The 100,000-ft.² facility represents a $21 million investment and houses $5 million in dedicated spare parts and inventory for component repair and overhaul.
Multi-Site Expansion

Bombardier plans to expand its U.S. service centers and add additional centers in a multi-phase, multi-site initiative, the company announced in August. Bombardier operates service centers in Dallas, Wichita, Tucson, Arizona; Hartford, Connecticut; and Miami Opa Locka in Florida.
Pilatus, Piper Maintenance

Kansas City Aviation Center (KCAC), based in Olathe, Kansas, has opened a new 30,000-ft.2 maintenance hangar at Johnson County Executive Airport, doubling its Part 145 service capacity. KCAC is a Pilatus- and Piper-authorized service center.
Southern Europe MRO

Italian MRO Atitech has opened the doors of its new private aircraft facility in Olbia, Sardinia, where it hopes to induct its first business jet for maintenance in late November. Atitech intends to establish eight lines for private jets by 2027.
Malta Maintenance Partnership

A new MRO facility began operations this summer at Malta International Airport through a partnership between Diamond Aircraft and Falcon Aviation Engineering. The facility is a regional MRO hub for Diamond’s training fleet.
