Increases In Gross Weight
Honda Aircraft, founded in 2006, is based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Elite S will have an increased maximum takeoff weight of 200 lbs., allowing operators to carry additional payload or an extra passenger or add more fuel and fly up to 120 nm farther with one pilot and five passengers.

The aircraft’s customized avionics suite has been updated with new features to reduce pilot workload and increase aircraft safety and efficiency, said Michimasa Fujino, Honda Aircraft president and CEO. FAA Data Comm will replace traditional voice commands with text-based messaging for departure clearance and en route services.
