Wichita and St. Joseph, Missouri, were the sites of back-to-back Warbird Weekends in July.

The first, a five-day-event held July 6-10 in Wichita, featured nine vintage and historic warbirds and other aircraft, including the restored B-29 Superfortress named “Doc”, EAA’s B-25 Berlin Express, a Stearman PT-13 and Cessna UC-78 Bobcat. Static display also included a Cessna L-19, North American Aviation T-6 Texan, Beech Staggerwing, Fairchild PT-26 and a Taylorcraft L-2.

A Warbirds Weekend held July 15-17 at the Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph included the B-29 Doc, T-6 Texan and B-25 along with a B-17 Texas Raiders.
