Duncan Aviation has opened a new FAA testing center in Battle Creek, Michigan. The company says the center fills a gap in regional testing capacity and is already considerably reducing the costs associated with getting its technicians certified. Read more.
CAE’s Vienna Training Center

CAE has officially opened a new training center for business aviation in Vienna, its first such facility in central Europe. The 86,000-ft.2 center offers classroom and simulator training for established pilots to earn their type rating and complete recurrent training for different authorities. Maintenance technician training includes type training, engine run and taxi courses, avionics and technical training and personal development courses. Read more.
Yinling Launches Apprenticeships

Yingling Aviation has launched an airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanic apprenticeship program to address a growing industry demand for skilled technicians. Upon completion of the program, the apprentices will be prepared to begin their careers as FAA-certified A&P mechanics, according to Yingling Aviation. Read more.
FlightSafety To Open In Arizona

FlightSafety International plans to open a 100,000 ft.² learning center in Mesa, Arizona in 2028. The facility will include full-flight simulators and training devices to serve pilots, maintenance technicians and cabin crew. The center will complement the one is operates in Tucson. Read more.
Gulfstream In Mesa

Gulfstream Aerospace opened a Technical Training Center in Mesa, Arizona, that will house a G650 fuselage segment and empennage assembly, a G700 engine, a G600 simulator and a G200 aircraft. The equipment will be used for skills development training in areas such as sheet metal work, avionics, mechanical maintenance and safety training. Read more.
