On the cover of the Aug. 1, 1983 issue of Aviation Week & Space Technology is OMAC Inc's OMAC-1, a single engine turboprop business aircraft.
The aircraft was photographed during a test flight over Pyramid Lake northeast of Reno, Nev. The 6-8 place business aircraft is powered by a 700-eshp. Avco Lycoming LTP 101-700A pusher turboprop.
Also in this issue, if you're a subscriber, you can find on page 22 about how the depressed general aviation market is "blunting the impact on aircraft deliveries of a 45-day strike at Avco Lycoming's Williamsport, Pa., engineplant".
