From The Archives: First Flight Photos Of Grumman Gulfstream

The Gulfstream Grumman is powered by Rolls-Royce Dart R.Da. 7/2 engines with takeoff rating of 2,105 eshp. each. Propellers are four-blade Rotols. The aircraft will carry 10 to 19 passengers at maximum cruise of 370 mph. at 25,000 ft.

In 1958, there were many Goonies (DC-3's) flying short-haul routes. This edition of the Gulfstream replaced some, but bigger turboprops came along, including a stretched Gulfstream.
