Signature Aviation, a private aviation terminal operator, announced the opening of its newly renovated facility at L.G. Hanscom Field (BED) in Bedford, Massachusetts.

The new facility, fashioned for “space, speed and sustainability,” features a 6,500 ft.² passenger terminal and adds 2,500 ft.² to the existing building, according to Signature Aviation. The Bedford location will also include a one-way airside loop for a more simplified landside arrival experience.

“Hanscom Field is a familiar name for any aircraft operator that frequents Boston or broader New England which makes it an indispensable part of Signature’s Northeast presence,” says Tony Lefebvre, Signature Aviation CEO.

The facility is one of several construction projects for Signature Aviation. In the U.S., new facilities are slated to open at Key West International Airport and at Huntsville International Airport. Overseas, Signature Aviation hopes to better serve its Asia-Pacific customers with locations at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, with additional facilities in the United Kingdom.
