New Jet Cards For Business Aviation

Several private flight providers launched new jet card programs in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here is a look at some of them.

Amalfi Jets

Amalfi Jets, based in Thousand Oaks, California, offers five hour, 25 hour and 50 hour jet cards for clients booking personal or business travel. The Amalfi Corporate Jet Card offers hourly rates of $5,700 for light jets, $7,700 for midsize jets, $9,700 per hour for super midsize jets, $10,700 an hour for large jets and $13,500 an hour for long-haul jets.

European Option

PrivateFly, a Directional Aviation company, launched a new jet card program during the COVID-19 pandemic aimed at frequent flyers. PrivateFly operates in Europe. U.S. routes will be operated through a new partnership with Sentient Jet, its sister company. Clients may buy a card for a minimum of 25 hours and choose from three categories, including light jet, midsize jet or heavy jet. Fixed hourly rates begin at €5,900 for the light jet category.

Pre-Purchase Plan

Qatar Executive

Qatar Executive, the private aircraft division of Qatar Airways Group, introduced the Diamond Agreement in July, a pre-purchase, fixed-rate jet card program. To join the program, customers buy a minimum of 50 hours of flight time without membership fees. Hourly rates include flight and taxi time. Qatar Executive, based at Doha International Airport, operates a fleet of 18 jets.
