May 2024 Fuel Prices

The average price for a gallon of Jet-A rose 15 cents in May when compared to a year ago but declined 8 cents from April 2024 to settle at $6.87, according to a fuel survey of U.S. FBOs by the Aviation Research Group. All eight FAA regions in the U.S. experienced a decline when compared to the previous month. The largest decline was in the Great Lakes region, with average prices down 19 cents compared to April 2024, while the smallest decrease was found in the Northwest Mountain region, with a 2-cent decline.
