August 25, 2021Here's a look at the top 10 U.S. Airports based on numbers of arrivals in preceding month, and their fuel prices.
The August 2021 national average for a gallon of Jet-A increased $0.05 from July to settle at $5.54. This marks the 5th straight month we’ve seen a yearly increase, up $0.64 from August 2020. Six of the 8 regions recorded a monthly increase in price, with the Central and Southern regions recording a slight monthly drop in price. The Eastern region, with a price of $6.23, continues to retain its spot as the most expensive region.
