Bombardier will start buying SAF through Signature’s book-and-claim system. The FBO contracts SAF from Neste, World Energy and BP.

In August, Beaune called for restrictions on the use of private jets and mulled raising taxes on business aircraft operations. He applauded the European Commission’s announcement in December that France can legally ban domestic flights if train service under 2.5 hr. is available on a route. Quoted in Le Parisien, he said, “There can’t be a means of individual travel for comfort at a time when the president’s campaign [to reduce carbon footprints] requires everyone to make an effort.”

Kane founded Verijet in 2019, choosing to operate the Vision Jet exclusively. This aircraft boasts low operating costs and a low carbon footprint, which has helped the company disrupt private aviation in terms of accessibility. The single-engine Vision Jet also addresses pilot staffing challenges not only by requiring just one crewmember, but also by eliminating many training barriers.
