Jetex and iGA Istanbul Airport have officially inaugurated the Jetex iGA Terminal in Istanbul, describing it as the world’s largest VIP terminal for private and commercial airline travelers.

The new terminal, unveiled on May 6, is designed to serve both private jet passengers and commercial airline travelers through a reservation-based system, offering premium hospitality and streamlined airport services.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Jetex Founder and CEO Adel Mardini said the company aimed to create a luxury experience reflecting Istanbul’s unique blend of history and modernity.

“Istanbul is a multicultural hub where thousands of years of history and culture blend with youthful, dynamic energy,” he said. “We have put tremendous effort into crafting a state-of-the-art experience for both private jet and commercial airline travelers.”

iGA Chair of the Board Cemal Kalyoncu said the airport has become a major global aviation hub connecting more than 140 countries and over 340 destinations.

“Designed not merely as an airport but as a legacy for future generations, this landmark project contributes significantly to our nation’s economy, tourism, and international trade,” Kalyoncu said.

He added that expansion efforts at the airport are continuing, including the planned opening of a fourth runway later this year and an increase in annual passenger capacity to 120 million travelers.

“This will reinforce the airport’s ambition to become a leading destination for private aviation,” he said.

The Jetex iGA Terminal includes private suites with relaxation areas, dining spaces, en suite bathrooms and dedicated service teams. Additional amenities include luxury lounges with concierge services and dedicated passport and security checkpoints intended to speed up the travel process.

Headquartered in Dubai, Jetex operates a global network of 40 private terminals in destinations including Abu Dhabi, London, Madrid, Marrakech, Milan, Paris and Singapore.
