Gulfstream announced plans to make its Malaysian airshow debut at the Selangor Aviation Show 2023 (SAS 2023) with its super-midsize Gulfstream G280 and G600 ultra-long-range business jets.

The show, held at SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre in Selangor, runs Sept. 7-9.

“Gulfstream is seeing increasing interest in our aircraft across Southeast Asia, and Malaysia is experiencing significant growth in business aviation,” says Scott Neal, Gulfstream senior vice president of worldwide sales.

Gulfstream’s G280 and G600 aircraft will be on display during the airshow, which “are ideal for operators based in the region,” according to Neal. The G280 features a 3,600 nm range at Mach 0.80 with a maximum speed of Mach 0.85, which has earned it over 85 city-pair records. The G600, noteworthy for its Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, has a maximum range of 6,600 nm with a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925.

The company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region continues to grow through additional authorized warranty facilities across its network, with recent additions in Bangkok, Thailand and China.
