Video: Garmin Demonstrates Autoland On King Air

During the recent EAA AirVenture convention, Garmin Aviation invited Business & Commercial Aviation to join a demonstration flight of its Autoland and autothrottle-equipped Beechcraft Super King Air 200 testbed with Garmin’s G1000 NXi avionics system. Garmin is working to certify Autoland/autothrottle the King Air 200 and 300 series turboprops. We flew from Appleton International Airport in Wisconsin. Jeremy Kariuki, producer.
