Utilization Change for Business Operator Classes November 2024

New data for the August-October 2024 three-month period from Aviation Week’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization shows that fractional operators lead growth for hourly flown figures, having surpassed its performance against the same period of 2023 (+9%) and 2019 (+57%). Results for charter entities (Non-scheduled Airlines) show a 2% increase year-on-year, while its recent 3-month total was 32% above the same period of 2019 utilization.

The total hours for corporate operators – the largest of the four operator classes – came to over 940,000 hrs. during the three-month period of 2024, 1% above Aug-Oct 2023 and 11% above the same period of 2019.
