Utilization Change For Business Operator Classes March-May 2024

New data for the March to May 2024 period from Aviation Week’s Tracked Aircraft Utilization data show that Fractional operators lead growth for hourly flown figures, having surpassed its performance against the same period of 2023 (+10%) and 2019 (+58%). Results for Non-scheduled Airlines (Charter) entities show a 6% increase year-on-year, while its recent 3-month total was 35% above the same period of 2019 utilization.

The total hours for Corporate operators – the largest of the four operator classes – came to over 940,000 hrs. during the last three full months of 2024, only 1% below Mar-May of 2023 and 12% above the same period of 2019.
